Frequently Asked Questions

‹ back

Every day, we receive numerous inquiries regarding the terms of cooperation, our production capabilities, or other matters related to starting a new collaboration. Therefore, we decided to gather some of the most important information and provide answers to the "Frequently Asked Questions."

1/ What is the minimum order quantity, or "MOQ"?

We do not have an MOQ. Our clients can order both single items and hundreds of pieces of a specific model (regardless of the number of colors or sizes). However, please note that the quantity of pieces sets the price threshold. The more pieces you order, the lower the unit price we can offer. If the order is small, we treat it as a "sample collection," and the unit prices are higher.

2/ What are the lead times for orders?

The lead time for orders is always individually agreed upon with the client. However, it is usually around 6-8 weeks from the moment the client provides all the materials and accessories needed to complete the order.

3/ Do we have publicly available patterns and models (for sale)?

No. Our company is a service-based sewing workshop, not a clothing producer. Therefore, we do not have patterns/models that we could sell or lend to new clients. We are bound by a trade secret with all our clients, and all clothing produced in our company is unique and reserved exclusively for the respective client.

4/ What articles can we sew?

Our company has specialized for years in sewing garments made from elastic fabrics. In short, these include: sportswear, casual wear, beach/swimwear. Therefore, we specialize in sewing: cycling shorts, cycling tights, cycling jerseys, cycling jackets, sleeveless vests, sports jackets, triathlon suits, arm warmers, leg warmers, cycling shoe covers, leggings, cycling pants, sports tops, hoodies, t-shirts, polo shirts, sweatpants, tracksuit tops with stand-up collars, knit dresses, one-piece and two-piece swimsuits, swimming costumes, swimming shorts and briefs, etc. We have extensive experience in this area and a well-equipped machine park.

5/ What needs to be provided for us to start production?

Dartex is a CMT manufacturer specializing in what we call "re-stitching." This means we do not have our own materials or accessories. We can start production only when:

  1. a) We have a sewn prototype and patterns of the model in all sizes (in paper or electronic format).
  2. b) The client has provided us with all the materials and accessories needed to complete the order.

6/ What are the payment terms?

We have been working with our clients for many years on a prepayment basis. This means:

  1.  If we are creating patterns and designs – the client pays 100% of the invoice value before we start working.
  2. If we are carrying out the final production – the client pays 50% of the invoice value before we start working. The remaining 50% is paid on the day of collection or shipment of the goods, i.e., after completing and checking the order.

7/ Do we have a product price list?

No. Each order and each model is priced individually. We can provide a preliminary quote based on product photos sent to us electronically. As for a precise quote, it is only possible after viewing the product, discussing the type of stitching, and understanding all production details.

8/ Do we offer embroidery/sublimation printing?

We do not provide these services. However, we do have a heat press on-site for applying company logos or washing instructions. Additionally, we have been collaborating for years with trusted companies in Łódź and the Łódź region, to whom we refer our new clients. These are reliable companies that perform their work in embroidery and sublimation with passion and dedication, meeting our quality expectations.
